Waterproof RV Roof is an Oak Ridge Foam & Coating Systems brand. Our roofing line goes on warehouses, cold storage buildings, and agricultural structures — pure polyurea membranes measured in acres. Alasta Seal is that same category of product formulated for a roof that is 200 square feet, sits on a laminate deck, and flexes constantly.
The commercial roofing background matters here because the failure analysis is the same. Roofs do not fail in the field. They fail at terminations, at penetrations, and at transitions between materials. Everything about how we spec an RV roof comes from that.
We also spend a fair amount of time telling people not to coat a roof. If the decking is wet, a membrane over the top makes the problem worse and slower to find. We would rather say so.
